The Thomas Jefferson Wiki is a repository of knowledge about Thomas Jefferson, to which Thomas Jefferson Foundation staff and scholars may contribute.
This tutorial is meant to be a "crash course" for contributors, giving a brief overview of how to use and contribute to the wiki. It is not meant to be a comprehensive manual, but you will encounter links in each part of the tutorial where you find a more in-depth explanation of that topic and any policies or guidelines you should be aware of.
As you go along, you will also see links to something called the "Sandbox." This is an area of the wiki where you can try out what you are learning, without worrying about "messing up" anything. We encourage you to play around in the sandbox as much as you need to!
